Macy’s needed to track progress against goals on an overall company basis, by department and at the individual employee level. We created a robust behind-the-scenes reporting tool that updates in real-time with pledge numbers and goal percentages. The tool provides executives with the ability to track their group’s donations and benchmark against other groups – critical information that enables them to manage and motivate teams accordingly.
The online auction system enabled employees across the U.S. to bid on donated items, with all proceeds going to the giving campaign. We made an administrative backend that allowed auction mangers to upload item photos and descriptions as well as track payments and deliveries. We also developed the ability to manage separate auctions at regional, divisional and local levels to increase efficiency and decrease delivery costs.
To promote the campaign, Sanger & Eby has developed a campaign theme, logo and supporting marketing collateral each year, including flyers, posters, website assets, pledge forms and displays, driving high levels of awareness and helping Macy’s achieve its goals.
