Through strategic design and corporate communications expertise Sanger & Eby helps Fifth Third convey its communications vision to all stakeholders with outstanding results. Due to their vast communication needs, our partnership ensured the right message, audience and channel were reached and utilized at the right time.
We have also worked with Fifth Third to launch their independent Fifth Third Processing Solutions entity – integrating three separate business partners into one brand for recruiting new business and employees. We developed information architecture for a new website that integrated disparate systems and worked closely with Fifth Third’s IT group to implement necessary back end functionality.
In addition, we developed supporting print materials, press kit and communications packet. Thus, providing a single-source solution with beautifully integrated online and offline materials on a compressed timeline.

Communicating the unique value of an organization in an annual report is a challenge Sanger & Eby excels at meeting. For many years, we have helped Fifth Third Bancorp come to life for target audiences in an engaging annual report. Our strategic design has helped them walk a fine line between appearing solid and stoic without appearing too extravagant.
Fifth Third has long been committed to social responsibility, and proudly details its impact each year in its Corporate Social Responsibility Report (CSRR).
To exemplify social responsibility, especially in its Corporate Social Responsibility Report, Fifth Third wanted to reduce paper usage in producing the piece. We took an integrated approach to designing the report. It was created as both a dynamic print piece (produced on recycled paper) and a highly interactive and engaging website, easily accessed on digital platforms. The website generated excitement while drastically reducing paper usage.
Fifth Third Foundation helps create brighter futures across multiple areas of need in the communities it serves. We partnered with the Bank’s Foundation Office on their annual reports used to communicate with the private and corporate foundations it manages funds for. With compelling story-telling and impactful imagery, we effectively communicate the foundation’s impact in a way that drives a whole new level of audience engagement.
When the Bank rebranded itself, we partnered with them to build brand recognition with both employees and customers – we developed an in-bank signage system that was rolled out to 1,200 locations as well as an employee engagement campaign including screensavers and printed and digital newsletters.
We have completed extensive strategic work to redesign the way they recruit new employees, including an employee referral initiative, with onboarding and retention communications.
