Program-specific marketing helps create awareness and drive enrollment

Clark State Community College was presented with an opportunity to be an early leader in education for a new agriculture program but they needed help to communicate why they should be.

With more than 50 years of experience providing degree-focused agriculture programs, Clark State was presented with an opportunity to partner with the city of Springfield to pave the way for education in a new precision agriculture program. However other schools were right alongside them and Clark State so they turned to Sanger & Eby to craft their competitive advantage to elevate them above the crowd.

Strategy

First, we researched the budding field, interviewed key College personnel about the new program and conducted a competitive analysis of Clark State’s chosen peers. We ideated on compelling themes to serve as the foundation for communication about the program, then developed content and design for the program’s initial brochure that stylistically could be leveraged for future print and digital pieces.

Results

While the program is new to the industry, Clark State Community College is ready to communicate to prospective students the value that their program brings to the field and to them.
